of fiber reinforcement for Concrete Contractors like
Richey Construction:
Saves time and hassle:
Because fiber reinforcement is simply added to the
concrete mix, there is no labor and time cost associated
with its installation. In addition, fibers reinforce
every square inch of the slab or pavement, so the
concrete is more durable throughout. Inhibits the
formation of plastic shrinkage and plastic settlement
cracking: Synthetic fiber reinforcement inhibits the
formation of plastic shrinkage and plastic settlement
cracking by providing an internal support system for
concrete.
Synthetic fiber reinforcement
helps concrete through
the period when it is most vulnerable to cracking, when
the concrete is beginning to harden and shrink due to
volume changes from loss of water. Improves joint
integrity and provides higher fatigue strength and
impact resistance: Independent testing has proven that
steel fiber reinforcement improves the quality of
concrete.
The
residual strength performance
of concrete reinforced with steel fiber helps provide
improved joint integrity, higher fatigue strength and
higher impact resistance in hardened concrete. Gain
